NPTEL Local Chapter @ MIETW

MIETW has got ‘NPTEL Local Chapter’ status from ‘NPTEL Office, IIT Madras’ on 6^th  Aug 2019. Mr.B.Sai Venkata Krishna, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, is given the responsibility as a ‘Single Point Of Contact (SPOC)’ [Institute Coordinator] between MIETW and NPTEL, IIT Madras. As a institute SPOC, he has to pass on the initiatives taking by NPTEL to the faculty and students of MIETW as and when announcements made by NPTEL Office. And also, he acts like nodal officer to put forth the concerns of all the participants to NPTEL Office. For smooth and easy functioning of the entire process of participant’s registration and taking up the NOCs seriously till their final examinations, Department wise coordinators along with SPOC are appointed. So, there are totally 6 department coordinators coordinating with SPOC to make announcements in class rooms, for giving awareness to students, discussing with their respective HODs to allot the mentor faculty to the respective department courses to provide mentoring to the needy students/participants during the course taking up till final exams.
