PEOs, POs & PSOs
Program Educational Objectives (PEO’S)
PEO1:To gain in depth knowledge in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering, to learn the design aspects in technology to implement successfully in real world problems.
PEO2: To enhance technical skills for product and application development, providing innovative solutions for research needs in the field of electronics & communication engineering. To start incubation centre to develop electronic products by giving new solutions.
PEO3: To develop expertise for innovation, practice new methodologies and inquisitiveness in learning new technologies with ethical mind.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (PO’S)
Engineering Graduates Will Be Able To Gain:
PO1:Technological Knowledge: use applied mathematics applied science, fundamentals of engineering in a specialized areas to provide solutions to complex problems
PO2:Problem Analysis: To identify the problems and define the problem definition, list different solutions, design and develop research methodologies solutions, conclude on the best solution.
PO3: Design /Development of Solutions: Electronics and Communication Engineering program facilitates students to Design prototype for user requirement. Design required Electronics for Projects as a proof of concept, keeping the safety of people in particular & society in general.
PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems:
- Industry and Technology growth changes the socio economic status of the country.
- Industry & Engineers adopts the Technology for various projects which suits to the people needs.
- While executing the project, Engineering discipline, theoretical concepts, fundamental knowledge enable engineers to solve complex problems.
- The complex issues are identified and a solution is provided considering the project limitations etc.
- Prototype models are prepared to study the behavior of the project.
- For certain problems simulation techniques are used and computational techniques are applied to create prototype for the complex problem.
PO5: Modern Tool usage: The paraphernalia required to develop projects to solve complex problems are identified. Applying mathematical models for prediction and simulation techniques will be extended limitation are being considered.
PO6: Engineer & Society: Able to view and analyse social issues and find solutions by proper reasoning. Based on the different context like health, safety, legal & cultural problems, a proper knowledge based solutions are provided professionally.
PO 7: Environment and Sustainability: Able to fore see the engineering solutions can be provided to the problems need in the society and environmental field, to overcome the issues to have sustainable growth and overall development in the society
PO 8: Ethics: Able to apply professional ethics while fulfilling the social responsibilities to solve Engineering problems.
PO 9: Industrial and Team Work: To inculcate practice to work efficiently as an individual as a team member, as a guide/leader in different teams and in multidisciplinary environment.
PO10: Communication: To effectively communicate using phone, e-mail, social media and video conferencing for various engineering activities at the place of work for peer to peer communication &also society at large for better outcome of problem solving, report writing documentation and effective presentation.
PO11: Project Management and Finance: To gain knowledge and understanding on management principles for effective project management, personal management on to one’s own work, To work as a team member & Team leader to execute the projects and help in other discipline.
PO12: Life –Long learning: To cater to the future requirements of industry and technological changes and adopt technology independently and engage life-long learning.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES(PSO’s)
PSO1: To apply knowledge gained during under graduate program for various technology requirements in industry and market requirement such as IoT’s, Embedded technology, VLSI, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, signal processing and Instrumentation.
PSO2: The under graduate programs play a role of finishing school to develop proto types, field testing and final application Development.
PSO3: During undergraduate program more emphasise is on research and Development to help the engineer to apply this skill and map on to the research and development organizations for new product design.
