Industry–Institution Interaction Cell (IICC)
The Industry–Institution Interaction Cell (IICC) at MIETW serves as the bridge between the institution and the real world of industry. It identifies and addresses the gap between industry expectations and student competencies, ensuring that MIETW graduates are work-ready and aligned with current technological and professional standards.
Objectives
- Establish industry–institute initiatives that expose students to real workplace culture and practices
- Align the engineering curriculum with current industry requirements and emerging technologies
- Enhance student employability through industrial exposure, internships, and skill development
- Facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading industries and organisations
- Organise plant training, factory visits, and live project opportunities
- Bridge the academia–industry gap through faculty development and industry-driven projects

Industry Collaborations
The IICC has facilitated MoUs and collaborations with companies across IT services, manufacturing, energy, and consulting sectors. Key partners include SAP-TASK (CoE Lab), Infosys (Springboard), Boston Group, and IIRS-ISRO, among others.
