Within the sub-disciplines of Electrical Engineering, the EEE curriculum stresses depth as well as breadth. Students will focus on electronic circuits and devices while also learning about signal and systems theory, electrical machines, control systems, power systems, power electronics, Integrated Circuits, Energy Systems, computer software and hardware, and mechanical, biological, and environmental systems. Students get expertise in the Engineering design process, which is an engineering activity that needs both creative synthesis and analytical, through this class.

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering department was established in 2009 and is now a full-fledged academic department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The AICTE has approved the B.Tech EEE programme, which is associated with JNTU Hyderabad and has a current intake of 60 students. M.Tech in POWER ELECTRONICS has an enrolment of 24 students in 2014.

Electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) has long been a foundation for inventions that enhance people’s lives, boost economic growth, and solve societal problems. Electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) has long been a foundation for inventions that enhance people’s lives, boost economic growth, and solve societal problems.  Even as power-carrying channels have changed from heavy metal cables to micro wires or optical fibres, electrical engineering has continued to play a critical role in power and energy distribution, communications, and computation. The basic electrical switches have developed from vacuum tubes to transistors to nano-particles, while communication networks have evolved from cables to wireless technology.  The influence of electrical engineering innovation may be seen in the vital technologies that connect society: mobile phones, computers, wireless communications, downloadable films, light-emitting diodes, electronic displays, “smart” power grids, electrical vehicles, hybrid vehicles, fast charging to wireless charging and quickly expanding monetary transaction systems.

CAREER IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

Electrical engineering graduates work in fields such as energy, construction, manufacturing, transportation, telecommunications, engineering, and computers. Electrical engineers can operate in a variety of settings, including labs, offices, and construction sites, depending on their career level or project phase.
