Category B – Management Quota Guidelines
Category B seats (30% of sanctioned intake) are filled directly by the institution under the management/NRI quota as permitted by the Telangana State Fee Regulatory Committee (TSFRC) and AICTE norms. These seats are available for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA programmes at MIETW.

Admission Process – Step by Step
- Apply — Submit an online enquiry at /application or contact the Admissions Helpdesk directly.
- Document Verification — Bring all original documents to the MIETW Admissions Office for verification. Seats are confirmed only after documents are found eligible.
- Seat Confirmation & Fee Payment — Pay the prescribed tuition and other fees (as fixed by TSFRC) at the accounts section. Obtain fee receipt and admission order.
- Reporting to College — Report on the date specified in the admission letter. Collect your ID card and complete the enrolment formalities.
Fee Structure
Fees for Category B seats are regulated by the Telangana State Fee Regulatory Committee (TSFRC). The fee is fixed per academic year for each programme and branch. The current fee structure is available at the Admissions Office and is also displayed on the college notice board as mandated by AICTE.
- Fee is payable semester-wise / year-wise as per the schedule notified by the institution.
- Students may apply for bank loans under the Vidya Lakshmi portal (vidyalakshmi.co.in).
- SC / ST / BC students who qualify for the Telangana Fee Reimbursement scheme must submit income and caste certificates at the time of admission.
NRI / NRI-Sponsored Seats
A portion of Category B seats may be reserved for NRI / NRI-sponsored candidates. NRI candidates must provide:
- Proof of NRI status (passport copy, visa, employment documents of the sponsor).
- Relationship certificate between the student and the NRI sponsor (if applicable).
- All academic documents as listed above.
NRI seat fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) as fixed by TSFRC.

- Intermediate / Qualifying Examination Marks Memo & Certificate (original + 2 copies)
- Entrance Exam Hall Ticket & Rank Card (TS EAMCET / ECET / PGECET / ICET / GATE)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last institution attended
- Conduct Certificate
- Caste Certificate — SC / ST / BC (if applicable)
- Income Certificate (for fee reimbursement eligibility)
- Aadhaar Card (original + photocopy)
- 6 recent passport-size photographs
- NRI / Sponsor documents (for NRI quota candidates only)
Important Rules & Conditions
- Category B admissions are subject to the guidelines issued by TSCHE, AICTE, and TSFRC for the respective academic year.
- Seats not filled under Category B may be surrendered to the Convenor (TSCHE) for filling through counselling, as per government norms.
- Any misrepresentation of documents will lead to immediate cancellation of admission without refund of fees.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable except as per the AICTE/UGC refund policy.
- Admission is provisional until the university confirms enrolment.
