Smart India Hackathon 2023

Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to provide students a platform to solve pressing problems in society, organizations, and government. MIETW students participated in Smart India Hackathon 2023, competing with teams from across the country to develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

About Smart India Hackathon

  • India largest open innovation model involving students, government bodies, and industry
  • Teams of 6 students tackle problem statements posed by government ministries and industry
  • 36-hour non-stop coding and development event
  • Prizes and recognition for winning teams at national level

MIETW Participation

MIETW students from CSE, ECE, and other departments formed teams and participated in SIH 2023, demonstrating technical innovation and problem-solving abilities. The event provided students with experience in rapid prototyping, teamwork, and pitching solutions to domain experts.
