Teacher–Parent Interaction Cell
The Teacher–Parent Interaction Cell (TPIC) at MIETW fosters a meaningful partnership between parents and the institution. Regular interaction between faculty and parents ensures that the academic progress, attendance, conduct, and overall well-being of every student remains a shared responsibility.
Objectives
- Keep parents regularly informed about their ward's academic performance, attendance, and behaviour
- Address parental concerns promptly through structured meetings and communication channels
- Enable faculty to better understand students' home environments and personal challenges
- Strengthen parental involvement in their ward's academic and personal development
- Provide a confidential forum for parents to raise issues related to teaching, infrastructure, or administration
Activities & Meetings

| Orientation Programme | Start of academic year | First-year parents briefed on academic regulations, hostel, transport, and campus norms |
Communication Channels
- SMS and phone alerts for attendance shortfalls and performance issues
- Written communication / letters for formal matters
- Parent–faculty meetings at the department level
- Open-door policy — parents may approach faculty advisors or the Principal at any time
