About the Department
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2009 with an intake of 60 students. An M.Tech programme in Power Electronics with an intake of 24 was added in 2014. The curriculum covers a broad range of sub-disciplines including electronic circuits, signal and systems theory, electrical machines, control systems, power systems, power electronics, integrated circuits, energy systems, and computer software and hardware. The department is AICTE-approved and affiliated with JNTU Hyderabad. EEE has long been a foundation for inventions that enhance people's lives, boost economic growth, and solve societal problems — graduates pursue careers in energy, construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, and computing.

To motivate students to collaborate in a way that embodies fundamental and ethical principles in order to improve and construct systems that address difficult issues, including analytical, design, and research skills that will help them advance in their careers. 5. Students' abilities to successfully communicate, evaluate, produce, and link information in multidisciplinary domains, with a focus on quantitative techniques and methodologies, will be enhanced.

Our department provides students with a strong foundation across power systems, control systems, electrical machines, and power electronics.
