About the Department
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was founded in 2008 and has grown steadily — the B.Tech programme expanded from 90 seats to its current 120 seats, and an M.Tech in VLSI/Embedded Systems was launched in 2012. ECE is one of the most versatile branches of engineering, spanning electrical circuits, electronic devices, computer hardware & software, and communication & signal processing. The department is led by experienced faculty, maintains well-equipped laboratories, and regularly conducts seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and technical symposia to keep students current with industry needs.

1. To give quality education in Electronics and Communication Engineering discipline utmost priority and produce employable and competent Engineers. 2. To improve the thought processes of the students by creating a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness in learning new technologies and to get hands-on experience and make them top-notch future engineers. 3. To offer them moral and social education by providing activities and situations to deal with the needs of the society.
Message from HOD

With 15 years of teaching experience and a background that includes industrial exposure, I am committed to delivering quality education in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Since joining MIETW in December 2016 as Head of Department, I have focused on strengthening laboratory infrastructure, supporting NAAC and JNTUH accreditation, and nurturing students in core areas such as electronic devices, digital circuits, analog electronics, and digital signal processing. I have published 10 research papers and participated in 4 national/international conferences. I encourage every student to develop curiosity, hands-on skills, and ethical values to become future-ready engineers.
