Audit Cell
The Audit Cell at MIETW is responsible for maintaining academic and administrative transparency, ensuring that all institutional processes — from examination conduct to financial transactions — conform to regulatory standards set by JNTUH, AICTE, and the Government of Telangana.
Objectives
- Conduct periodic internal audits of academic records, attendance, and examination processes
- Ensure compliance with JNTUH autonomous regulations and AICTE norms
- Verify financial accounts and institutional expenditure as per approved budgets
- Review administrative processes for efficiency and adherence to policy
- Prepare and submit audit reports to the Governing Body and regulatory authorities
- Facilitate external audits by university, government, or NAAC inspection teams
Academic Audit Activities
- Verification of course coverage and lesson plan compliance each semester
- Review of internal assessment records and mark submission timelines
- Audit of student attendance registers and faculty attendance records
- Inspection of laboratory records, equipment logs, and maintenance registers
- Review of library acquisition, usage, and membership records
Quality Assurance
The Audit Cell works in coordination with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to ensure that all quality benchmarks are met and sustained. Audit findings are used to continuously improve teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
